Regulation note

In Argentina, the telecommunications regulator ENACOM (Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones) administers the national numbering plan, under which premium-rate-style "audiotexto" calls are classified as non-geographic value-added services: per the Plan Fundamental de Numeración Nacional (Res. SC 46/97), indicator 600 is a "Número No Geográfico de Valor Agregado tipo Audiotexto," 601–609 are reserved for value-added audiotext numbering, and 610 covers other value-added services. ENACOM's published "Indicativos de servicio" register shows the live assignments, including 600 Audiotexto Gran Público, 605 Audiotexto Colectas, 607 Audiotexto Conversación Múltiple, and 609 Llamadas Masivas (mass calling). The numbering plan itself states that tariffs for special-service codes are set outside the plan, and ENACOM separately handles consumer billing complaints for fixed and mobile telephony. General information, not legal advice — verify current rules with ENACOM.
