The Czech Telecommunication Office (ČTÚ) publishes official guidance on calls to premium-rate numbers beginning with the digit 9: prefixes 900 and 906 (commercial, professional, advertising and competition services), 905 and 908 (one-off-priced services such as voting), 909 (adult entertainment) and 976 (data/Internet access). The price is encoded in the number itself — for 900/906/909/976 the 4th and 5th digits set the per-minute price in CZK including VAT (e.g. 900 95X = 95 CZK/min), while 905 charges a one-off connection fee of ten times that value (e.g. 950 CZK) and 908 a one-off fee per those digits. ČTÚ states these are "content services" not governed by the Electronic Communications Act; the obligation to inform the caller of the price derives from the Price Act enforced by the Czech Trade Inspection (ČOI), and billing disputes are handled via the content/telephone-service provider with objections directed to ČTÚ. General information, not legal advice — verify current rules with ČTÚ.
